The total global gross on the Yarrow Cheney- and Chris Renaud-helmed movie is now $866.5M. Overseas, the movie opened No. 1 in 45 markets along the rollout which began in late June. The domestic cume is $366.3M. There, it had the best opening for an original film, animated or otherwise. In a big year for animation, Pets is the 6th highest-grossing film of 2016 at the worldwide box office.
